Someone from BT & D knocked on my door. Is that legit?
Our crews do walk neighborhoods and talk to homeowners. Ask to see their ID, take the card, and check us out before you decide anything. If you would rather not talk at the door, just say so, or book the free assessment here on your own time.
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. We look at your roof, your electric panel and your usage, and tell you whether solar makes sense for your house. There is no charge and no obligation to buy.
Will you pressure me to sign?
No. You get a written, itemized quote and time to think. If it is not a fit, we will say so, and that is fine with us.
Is my roof a good fit?
It depends on the direction it faces, the shade around it, and the age and condition of the roof. We check all of that at the assessment, and if your roof needs work first, we will tell you.
Can I add a battery?
Yes, a home battery can go in with the panels or later. It keeps the essentials running when the grid goes down. We will size it around what you actually want to keep on.
Who handles permits and the utility paperwork?
We do. Permits, inspections and the utility approval to turn the system on are part of the job, and we keep you posted at each step.
What does it cost?
It depends on your roof, the size of the system and whether you add a battery, so we price it after the assessment. The quote is written and itemized.
